The Layout

Carne Golf Links, a par-72 championship layout, offers 27 spectacular holes across the Hackett 18 and the Wild Atlantic Dunes course. Originally designed by Eddie Hackett and later enhanced by Ally McIntosh, Carne’s natural flow through towering dunes, rolling fairways, and undulating greens provides a thrilling and unforgettable links experience.

Authenticity of the Landscape

Set in the remote beauty of Belmullet Peninsula in County Mayo, Carne embraces its wild, untamed Atlantic setting. The rugged dunes, dramatic elevation changes, and panoramic ocean views make for an authentic links experience that feels raw, untouched, and deeply connected to the land.

"Hello Go Euro Golf! I wanted to say thank you so much for setting up what will be a trip of a lifetime. Your attention to detail in arranging a hotel that meets all of our needs, along with what sounds like some of the greatest golf courses that Ireland has to offer, is far exceeding all of our expectations. I appreciate you guys and don’t know how to thank you other than to say come over to the west side of Ireland and join us for a round and a pint! Thanks again and cheers! You’re the best!"
